Though when you receive issb call letter you will be warned by the issb in clear words that joining any kind of coaching for inter services selection board tests is strictly prohibited and you are therefor not allowed to get coaching from any private coaching academy. But the questions is what should be done in this kind of situation and how to deal with it when at one side you have your life goal and on the other hand you have to follow rules and regulations. In my personal opinion joining academies for coaching has both pros and cons which i will tell you in crystal clear words and then your should be able to decide for yourself.
If we talk about the bright side of the coaching academies for the inter-services selection board it is not bad to work hard for your goals and your aim and you should prepare yourself as much as you can because there are only two chances and we cannot risk it right? If you join academy the main and the first thing is that you will learn about your personality, your mistakes and your weakness. They will tell you about the cracks and holes which you will be having in your personality. Most of us have almost zero home environment where we can practice the individual obstacles but many coaching academies like Muhammadian and Noor forces etc provide the candidates a full simulated environment of the individual obstacles which is a good thing.
The other good thing is that you will be given a proper practice on word association tests, sentence completion tests, picture story writing tests, pointer stories and incident writing. There will be also classes for general knowledge which will help you to increase your general knowledge and clear the interviews similarly there are lots of plus points but at the same time there are some negatives the first one is that candidate who join academy for training lose his own personality he becomes used to cramming stuff from books and guides and he has a lock on his thinking. Also they don't like to test pre-trained candidates which is a very bad thing and the worst thing is that they are very experienced and they can tell it easily by looking at a candidate whether he has received pre-issb coaching or not. Similarly these academies charge a very high amount of fee which is not good for some people as they cannot afford it. So these where the pros and cons of joining coaching academies now i will tell you that if you have some doubt on your self and your skill feel free to visit an academy but do not get used to their life as you will lose your own personality also you can train yourself easily in your home.
